Which educational experience really made an impression on you?
Anke: I believe very strongly that I have a real weakness in mathematics. And that became a real problem for me just before finishing high school - particularly as I didn't get past the verbal maths examination. All the teachers had given up on me, that was clear. But then, Ms. Köppen came along and she believed in me. She explained to me vividly with objects what I hadn't otherwise been able to understand, and she tried to teach me things that way. Then we tackled the exam together and I actually passed.

What was the last nice thing you bought yourself?
Two very beautiful chairs for our kitchen table. With wooden legs, arm rests and upholstery, one is pigeon blue and the other is petrol blue. They were really expensive, but I coveted them for a good half a year and then I finally bought them. And they make me happy.
