A lot of theatre

“You are the star” – under this motto the ADC Awards Show took place in the halls of Station Berlin, in the former post freight station at Gleisdreieck. Artists and guests entered the hall through a red theatre curtain. Via a show staircase they reached a hundred-metre-long catwalk, which transformed the so-called “banana hall” into a catwalk of stars. 2500 enthusiastic participants followed the award ceremony.

A “golden nail”, “hammered” into the podium as a lectern, formed the focal point on stage. The laudators entered the stage through the ADC star. The menu courses of the After Show Party were staged as theatrical acts and carried over the catwalk into the audience. 100 illuminated refrigerators complemented the show lighting in the hall and provided the setting for the opulent menu.
